The Wine Education Trail—the first of its kind in Austria—winds through the vineyard landscape and provides interesting facts about grape varieties, viticulture, and the history of wine. All around the village, well-marked hiking trails—including the popular “Kleine Falkenflug”—invite you to enjoy pleasant walks with impressive views of the castle ruins and the charming cultural landscape.
Historic buildings such as the parish church, the fortified rectory, and the town hall tell the story of this small wine-growing village’s eventful past. In the summer, the tournament courtyard of the castle ruins transforms into an atmospheric venue for concerts, theater performances, and festivals that attract visitors from near and far.
