The Pröstler family's winery in Haugsdorf in the Weinviertel looks back on a long tradition - winegrowing has been practiced here with dedication since 1864. Today, responsibility for wine production lies in the hands of Herbert, who runs the business together with his wife Lucia and is constantly developing it further.
The entire extended family cultivates around five hectares of vineyards with great passion, personal commitment and a genuine love of the craft. These vineyards produce full-bodied red wines and fruity white wines that reflect the character of their origin.
The mild Pannonian climate and the fertile loam and loess soils around Haugsdorf offer ideal conditions for high-quality viticulture. Careful and natural care of the vines produces the best grapes - the most important basis for expressive, high-quality wines.
In the cellar, we work with great sensitivity: Gentle processing, precise vinification and sufficient maturing time give the wines room to develop their full potential. The deep connection to the wine and the region can be felt in every single step - from the vineyard to the glass.
