Kellergasse Leobendorf
Cellar-lined roads
Description
The Tresdorf wine cellar lane, a one-sided single cellar lane, is picturesquely situated in a ditch and on a slope on the western edge of the village. With a length of 200 meters, it consists of 27 impressive buildings, including 25 cellars, some of which have eaves and others are shield walls. Although half of the cellars are in need of renovation, the alley exudes a unique charm. The oldest dating of the buildings goes back to 1908. The wine cellar lane is also home to the wine tavern "Heuriger Holzer". After a walk through the wine cellar lane, visitors can expect a breathtaking view with far-reaching vistas. We recommend a walk in the evening, when you can enjoy a wonderful sunset.
The unmistakable charm of the Weinviertel wine cellar lanes can be experienced most impressively on a guided tour.
This provides fascinating insights into their history and the former significance of these special places.
