Kellergasse Beim Baumkreis
Cellar-lined roads
Description
The wine cellar lane near the tree circle is located south of the village of Kettlasbrunn on a hill. Here you will find the Veltlinerland tree circle, a place of rest and relaxation that promotes people's intimate relationship with nature. Around 90 cellars lie in a trench on both sides and an old tree press can be admired in the middle of the wine cellar lane. One of the highlights is the self-service cellar with a rest area offering regional delicacies and wines from the region. The Veltlinerland tree circle consists of 21 different trees, each of which represents a specific time of year and has its own meaning. This place offers the opportunity to experience nature with all your senses and to learn interesting facts about the individual tree species. The tree circle was planted in October 2000 by prominent Weinviertel artists and politicians and blessed by herb priest Weidinger. A visit to the wine cellar lane near the tree circle is a journey into the nature and culture of the region that promises both relaxation and enjoyment.
