Description
The Belvedereschlössl, a former pleasure palace of the Freisegg estate, has been home to the district museum since 1984.
Here visitors will find collections on the history of the town and district, folklore and natural history as well as interesting finds from prehistory and early history.
The Belvedereschlössl was built in the 16th century and over the years has served as a farm building, manor house, summer residence, machine factory and residential building.
Today it is known as the 'Belvedereschlössl Cultural Center' and offers a wealth of cultural and historical treasures.
Visitors should follow the signs for 'Kulturzentrum / Bezirksmuseum' to reach the Belvedereschlössl.
A visit to this historic site is an enrichment for every culture lover and history enthusiast.

This is how you can reach the "Belvedereschlössl Cultural Center": Express train S3 from Vienna, highway A22 (feeder roads: B19, B3, B4, B303) - Stockerau Ost - follow the sign "Kulturzentrum / Bezirksmuseum".
