Description

The Dollinger winery has been a family business in Spannberg, in the Matzner Hügel wine-growing region, for three generations. Since 2000, it has been run by Rudi Dollinger, who took over the management after completing master courses in agriculture, viticulture and cellar technology. Working in the vineyard in an environmentally conscious and natural way is just as much a matter of course as selective hand-picking. It is not the highest yield, but the uncompromising adherence to high quality standards that determines the winery's path. A large variety of wines, which are traditionally prepared, present themselves independently in character and structure. Around 2/3 of the vineyards are planted with Grüne Veltliner, Müller Thurgau, Welschriesling, Riesling, Sämling 88, Chardonnay and Muskat Ottonel. For red wine lovers, there are Zweigelt, Blauburger, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The different varieties are vinified as Prädikat wines depending on their degree of maturity. The self-produced sparkling wine is also considered a sparkling delight. The extract-rich Muskat Ottonel delights exquisite throats.
