The warm, loose sandy soils of the Brandenstein family's farm are perfect for growing asparagus organically. The deliberately low number of plants per hectare and the natural fertilization with mature compost ensures a balanced supply of valuable, flavour-forming minerals, allowing asparagus to grow in a natural way that is unique in its tenderness and taste.
In addition to asparagus, the historic farm store also sells strawberries, artichokes, homemade sourdough bread and a selection of juices, wines and pickles.
