Description
The Bubenicek Meiberger organic farm is located in Zwerndorf, on the eastern edge of the fertile Marchfeld region.
As a family business, organic vegetables have been grown here since 2002, both outdoors and in ecologically heated greenhouses. The organic vegetables are not only available - seasonally - as fresh produce, but also in the form of pickled specialties: sweet and sour pickles, mustard gherkins, hot pickles, chilli peppers, beet, celery and carrot salad, corn, colorful peppers and much more.
The sweet and sour pickled gherkins in particular (formerly known as Pepi's Gurkerl), pickled according to a Bohemian recipe from Czech ancestors, are now known not only across the region but also beyond national borders.
