The Georg Toifl KG winery, located in Kleinhöflein near Retz, has been in operation since 2010. The vineyards are located in Obritz at the foot of the Buchberg, on the slopes of the Schatzberg in Ragelsdorf and around the winery site in Kleinhöflein. The vineyards are cultivated according to organic criteria and the grapes are harvested 100% by hand. Nature is constantly in flux and needs its diversity and interactions. For this reason, we try to cultivate the vines as naturally and gently as possible. The wines are divided into the G, GEO and GE.ORG lines. The longer the name, the heavier and more complex the wines. G stands for fine classic, dry, fruity and typical of the Weinviertel. GEO is the geographical and geological interpretation, multi-layered, elegant and with ageing potential. GE.ORG is the vision of top-class single vineyards, with the strictest yield reduction, consistently selected and with the highest physiological grape ripeness. The Wanted is a Grüne Veltliner with character, powerful but still classic. A true "Retzer". The art of winemaking, like nature, is a continuous cycle that is constantly changing. What remains is the attempt to make the best of the circumstances and to pour them into an idea in the hope that it will succeed.
