Description
The BIO-WEISSWEIN-WEINGUT Holzmann, under the loving management of Nina and Karl Holzmann and with the active support of their two sons Lorenz and Leonhard, is known for its outstanding quality, especially when it comes to Roter Muskateller. In addition to classics such as Grüne Veltliner, Riesling and Chardonnay, the winery also offers unusual varieties such as Roter Riesling, Roter Veltliner and Roter Traminer. The vineyards and winery are located in the spa town of Bad Pirawarth, a feel-good resort in the southern Weinviertel. The gentle hills, the play of colors of the vineyards, the fields and the adjacent Hochleithenwald forest give the surroundings their special charm. The vineyards have been cultivated organically since 2015 and the first certified organic wines were produced in 2019. The name Holzmann stands for top wines and unusual varieties, all of which have won multiple awards. In addition to its range of wines, the winery also offers other delicacies such as chocolate, pralines, chutneys, liqueurs and grape marc brandy, which make perfect gifts for birthdays or other special occasions.
