Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the small town of Pulkau with around 1,500 inhabitants lies at the transition between the Waldviertel and Weinviertel in a Tuscan-like landscape and bears witness to its historical past.

Tip: Picnic in the vineyard

You can enjoy a picnic at a panoramic rest area on all wine trails. The basket is filled with typical regional delicacies, a bottle of peppery, spicy Grüne Veltliner (or a bottle of grape juice) and a bottle of water.
