The Göllersbach - the leading river of a region and yet a body of water that usually receives very little attention.
The themed trail to the Göllersbach in Breitenwaida with its ten stations provides an insight into the varied and eventful history of the leading watercourse in the Göllersbach valley and also draws attention to the far-reaching effects that human intervention in the natural environment has had on the entire environment and continues to have today.
The themed trail is approx. 1 km long, runs along the Göllersbach stream and is freely accessible all year round. The tour is also suitable for baby carriages. The themed trail can be walked in both directions.
There are no special safety precautions to follow when visiting the themed trail.

End point: Pläßmühle, 2014 Breitenwaida
The themed trail runs along the Göllersbach stream between Breitenwaida and Dietersdorf and begins at the Breitenwaida Elementary School. The themed trail can also be walked as a loop by using the numerous farm roads that run parallel to it.
There is parking available at the elementary school for those arriving by car.

The themed trail is located directly along Routes 2 and 3 of the signposted “Tut gut!” hiking trails in Breitenwaida and can also be explored by bike.
