The cycle route offers numerous contrasts, from cycle paths that meander through fields and vineyards and unique impressions of the folded hilly landscape, to the "crazy" village of Herrnbaumgarten. "Verruckt", not crazy! A small, indomitable village on the edge of the Weinviertel region skillfully looks at the world from a slightly quirky angle. Small sights of a somewhat different kind await discovery along the way. An ideal resting place with countless grape varieties from the region for tasting is located above Herrnbaumgarten.

The starting point for this tour is Vino Versum in Poysdorf. Ride past the Kolpinghaus and turn left onto Singergasse. Then take the second alley on your right. Then turn into the third alley on the left. Follow the street to the end and turn right. This street will take you to Walterskirchen, where you’ll turn onto the street across from the castle. Follow this alley to the end, then turn right and continue to the end, and then turn right again. Then take the second right and drive straight out of the village. Keep to the right and DO NOT take the road you came from; instead, take the road that branches off to the right. Follow the road and turn left at the next opportunity, then right. Now continue straight ahead until you reach Herrnbaumgarten. At the Gasthaus zum Doppeladler, turn left. Continue along the road and cross the street. Drive to the next intersection and turn left there. You’ll pass under the A5 and then arrive on a road running parallel to the B7. Just before the road ends, turn left and then right. Follow the road, and at the end of the street, turn right. You’ll now arrive at the Kolpinghaus, and behind it is your starting point, Vino Versum.

Poysdorf can be reached by car via the A5 highway.
If you're coming from Vienna, you'll first need to take a bus or train to Mistelbach. From Mistelbach's main square (Hauptplatz), there is a bus service to Poysdorf. There is also a bus service to Poysdorf from Wolkersdorf, though the trip takes longer.
