LUNA Frauenprojekt

The EFQM-certified women's project LUNA, which has been awarded the seal of approval for social integration companies, moved to the site of a former wood processing company in 2010. The large industrial site, with its white halls and small wooden pavilions, creates a special, museum-like image of an old industrial park. A small museum illustrates the eventful history of the site. The unused green spaces between the halls have been cultivated by the project participants since 2013. The harvest is processed to provide the Luna store with valuable products (mustard, syrups, teas, etc.) and to offer the participants a healthy meal, which they learn to prepare themselves on site. Visitors can also taste the products by prior arrangement. Working with nature, which most of the participants are not familiar with, requires physical effort, teaches patience and creates joy in the activity and the result.
