Description
The Kalvarienberg Pillersdorf, a place of impressive beauty and historical significance, lies gently in the Retzer Land. This place of power, vantage point and place of worship is known for its imposing, baroque crucifixion group, which was created around 1730. The artistically designed sculptures can be seen from afar. According to legend, a wealthy and influential people once lived here, who built an extensive town on the gentle slopes - today's Schrattenthal.
