The ErlebnisZug Leiser Berge, sometimes also affectionately called the NostalgieExpress, takes its guests comfortably from Vienna via Korneuburg to Ernstbrunn. Decelerated travel like in the old days in rattling diesel trains.
Various day offers including the journey from Vienna and the onward journey with the NaturparkBus (tickets for the NaturparkBus are available on the ErlebnisZug) to various exciting Excursion destinations promise an unforgettable day in the Weinviertel.
For example, you can visit the Weinviertel trolley, the MAMUZ Schloss Asparn, the viewing platform on Oberleiser Berg, the Ernstbrunn Wildlife Park with the Wolf Research Center, a guided tour of the cellar lanes in Dürnleis and the Simonsfeld farmers' market. Once you arrive at the train station, the Nature Park Bus is ready to take you onwards.
Nature lovers can also explore various hiking trails or cycle routes around Ernstbrunn. The Leiser Berge also offer challenging mountain bike trails.
