Museum

Description

The oil and natural gas nature trail was set up as an open-air museum in 1979. In 1996, a striking museum building was erected at the start of the nature trail, in which the development from marine life to crude oil and natural gas is explained on display boards. Outside, over 150 exhibits are on display at 45 stations along a 4 km hiking trail that leads through a well-kept park at the edge of the forest into the gentle loess hills of the Weinviertel. During a pleasant hike, you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the precious raw materials of crude oil and natural gas. Guided tours can be organized by prior arrangement via the municipal office.
