Barockgarten & Englischer Landschaftspark Schloss Mühlbach

Castle, Church, Historical sites, Horseback riding, Model garden, Outdoor adventure, Ponds, lakes and springs

Description

The baroque garden with its English landscape park at Mühlbach Castle is an ornamental garden restored according to historical plans with an orangery, herbaceous borders and water basin, surrounded by a natural park. Two-hundred-year-old trees spread out their leaves, which, depending on the season, shine bright green in spring, lush in summer or autumnal in a wide range of colors. Botanical rarities such as the gingko, tulip tree, catalpa, bluebell tree and handkerchief tree offer surprising blooms at any time of year. The splashing of the fountain, the scent of roses and the chirping of birds delight the senses, while the gently winding paths are a treat for the feet. The two buildings, the large and small orangery, as well as the castle park can be hired for events, whereby the design options are completely free to make every celebration a personal and individual event. In summer, a variety of cultural events such as concerts, theater and exhibitions are also offered.
