Three former wine cellars, three individual retreats: In Schrattenthal, the smallest wine town in Austria, the Hindler family has created a special form of time-out. Their lovingly renovated cellars are nestled between gentle vineyards in the village's wine cellar lane. The interior is dominated by untreated wood, warm fabrics in natural tones and plenty of light. Outside, the view opens up to the surrounding countryside - whether you're having breakfast on the terrace or relaxing in the rest area with its natural stone wall. The fridge is filled with Weinviertel delicacies and the bread for breakfast is freshly delivered. Guests can expect not only the personal touch of the host and hostess, but also a good glass of Grüne Veltliner - at the weekly Wein.Stammtisch or in the hotel's own wine lounge. The Weinviertel organic pumpkin seed oil comes from their own farm and is also served with the wine tasting and bread.

The three cellar rooms - Hüttenberg, Kalvarienberg and Öhlberg - offer space for two to six people. High-quality box-spring beds, a cozy kitchen with Nespresso machine and a wine cabinet with a fine selection are just as much a part of the equipment as WLAN and TV. Three electric car charging stations are also available for guests. For active guests, there are e-bikes to borrow, a lockable bike cellar and even a washing machine for sports laundry. Those who prefer to enjoy themselves can take part in wine bowling in the adventure cellar, relax in the infrared studio or barbecue in the cozy wine arbor. The sunset at the Hiata Huts in the Kalvarienberg vineyard is particularly atmospheric - a place to linger with a view of the vineyards.
