Cafe-Restaurant Nationalpark Thayatal
Description
The Thaya Valley National Park, in cooperation with the Czech Národní park Podyjí, protects one of the most beautiful, romantic and species-rich valley landscapes. This region offers an incomparable variety of plants and animals that can be found in the Thaya region in a very small area. The Thaya Valley National Park preserves one of the last near-natural valley landscapes in Central Europe. The Thaya has created habitats and forest types with a surprising diversity in a very small area. Over 40% of all plant species occurring in the region and a large number of endangered animal species such as the European wildcat, the black stork and the noble crayfish are at home here. The Thayatal National Park offers the ideal environment for discovering unspoiled nature. With 100 km of hiking and cycling trails leading through gentle meadows, barren rocky areas and cool, lush green forests along rivers and streams, the Thayatal National Park is a paradise for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
