The Schamböck winery has its roots in Pillichsdorf, about 12 km north of Vienna. It has been run by the fourth generation since the beginning of the 20th century and has always focused on quality and careful processing. The manageable vineyard area makes it possible to lay the foundations for outstanding quality in the vineyard. In the cellar, cooled fermentation is used to achieve an optimal bouquet and aroma. In addition to wine, the winery also produces cereals, peas, pumpkins, corn and potatoes. The vineyards are historic, as the first vines were planted here hundreds of years ago. Thanks to the manageable vineyard area, it is possible to lay the foundations for excellent quality wines in the vineyard itself.
