The 10er-Vock winery, whose name goes back to the former house number 10 and the frequently occurring name Vock in Hohenruppersdorf, is a highlight for wine connoisseurs. Hohenruppersdorf, with 260 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 244 meters above sea level, is the largest wine-growing community in the southern Weinviertel. The wines of the 10er-Vock winery are produced on an area of around 6 hectares. The main varieties are Grüne Veltliner and Zweigelt, but rarities such as Bouvier and Frührote Veltliner are also offered. The grapes are harvested by hand and verification takes place through spontaneous fermentation and selective grape processing. The quality of the wines is confirmed by numerous awards. The wines are mainly distributed via farm-gate sales. Four times a year, tastings are held at the open cellar door day, or by prior appointment.
