The Bacher winery, a family business steeped in tradition, is located in the south-western part of the Weinviertel. The history of viticulture in this family is difficult to date, but thanks to well-preserved equipment and methods such as the tree press and vats built into the cellar floor, it can be proven that wine has been produced since 1936. Despite the modernization of the production process over the decades, the connection to tradition, the craft and the resulting society remains. Mainly white wines are cultivated on an area of around 3.5 hectares, with Grüner Veltliner as the most typical grape variety of the Weinviertel taking center stage. In addition, varieties such as Sämling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and the red wine Zweigelt are cultivated. The winery also offers farm-gate sales, delivery and delivery by parcel service.
