Description

The historic Leithen wine cellar lane, nestled in the Weinriede vineyards and close to the village of Platt, is an impressive testimony to the region's wine culture. In the immediate vicinity is the Stone Age cellar, another highlight on the "Weinsortenweg" hiking trail. A unique feature of the Leithen wine cellar lane is the so-called "Kellerstadion". This is a sports field, which is unusually located in the middle of the wine cellars. It has existed since 1851 and offers a very special flair. The combination of sporting activity and the picturesque backdrop of the wine cellars creates an incomparable experience.

The unmistakable charm of the Weinviertel wine cellar lanes can be experienced most impressively on a guided tour.
Fascinating insights into their history and the former significance of these special places are revealed.
