Winzerhof Zimmermann
Description
Fruity, elegant and harmonious wines - this is the best way to describe the range of wines from Winzerhof Zimmermann. To keep it that way, two generations live for one thing, namely the production of high-quality wines.
The best conditions for this are the vineyards, which are mainly south-facing. Most of the vines are planted on loess loam and clay soils, which are ideal for producing fruity white wines. In order to achieve the best possible grape quality, an optimal leaf-fruit ratio is necessary, which is achieved through targeted manual work in the vineyard. The winery is run by winemaker Gerhard Zimmermann and since June 2017 together with his son Paul, a graduate of the Higher Federal Institute and Federal Office for Wine and Fruit Growing. The junior boss focuses mainly on the vinification of fruity and classic white wines, with the production of Gelber Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc in particular being among his greatest passions.
