Winzerhof Schütz
Description
Winzerhof Schütz is located around 25 km north of Vienna. The typical loam and loess soils of the Weinviertel, coupled with the influence of the Pannonian climate, allow the grapes to ripen in a particularly fruity and varietal way. In the winery's cellar, newly built in 2007, these fully ripe grapes are processed into fragrant, sparkling quality wines through gentle pressing and cooled fermentation. Since the 2014 vintage, the winery has been managed by Stefan Schütz, a dedicated young winemaker who took over after completing a 4-year technical college course. He puts his heart and soul into his dream job and always strives to get the best out of the given vintages. He is currently preparing for his master winemaker exam in order to bring even more quality and expertise to wine production in the future.
