The Frischauf family's winery is a place where passion, know-how and experience come together to create an outstanding drop of wine. The winery is located in a region that is virtually predestined for viticulture. The foothills of the Manhartsberg, where the Waldviertel and Weinviertel meet, offer ideal conditions for viticulture. Loess, primary rock and shell limestone soils, paired with climatic characteristics such as hot sunny days and cool nights, are the basic ingredients for the delicately fruity and mineral Röschitz wines. The vineyards are the heart of the winery, where the vines are carefully tended and the soils are cultivated close to nature. In the cellar, the Frischauf wines are carefully processed and matured in classic, fruity style in steel tanks. They are given the time they need to reach perfect maturity and offer an incomparable taste experience.
