Weingut Taubenschuss

The winery has existed since 1670 and builds on the experience of successful generations of winemakers. The historic "Aspergerhaus" in Poysdorf, a centuries-old jewel of a Weinviertel building, has always provided the perfect setting for this. It was one of the first wineries in Austria to start bottling bouteilles back in 1941, and this is just one reason for its pioneering position in the region. Today, the business is run by Markus and Thomas Taubenschuss - with the active help of their parents Monika and Helmut, who are still actively involved in marketing and production.

Art in the winery - A unique exhibition of sculptures by various artists is displayed in the historic winery! Guided tours with commentary, including wine tasting, can be booked directly at the winery and at the tourist information office from April to December.
