Weingut SEiDL am Dach
Description
The SEiDL am Dach winery is located in the western Weinviertel and the vineyards are scattered across the Pulkau valley. The different vineyards provide a wide variety of conditions for ripening the grapes. This gives each wine its own special character.
Over the years, the winery has grown - areas, grape varieties and cellars have been expanded. The heart of the winery is located in the wine cellar lane.
Three cellars have been linked together, each of which is unique:
- traditional ... in the depths of the earth, the cellar tube as it once was
- "on the roof" for tasting, talking shop, chatting, being pampered, relaxing, celebrating
- modern ... vinification of the wines in stainless steel tanks.
In November 2015, the merged businesses were handed over to the next generation. Since then, the main task has been to look after the grapes in nature and accompany them on their way to the cellar until the wine is finished in the bottle. The challenges of nature and independence arouse more and more interest and are an exciting experience every year.
The Seidl family is proud to carry on the legacy of their grandparents and parents and to preserve this valuable body of work for future generations.
