Weingut Frotzler

Description

The Frotzler winery, based in Schrattenthal, the smallest wine town in Austria, looks back on an impressive history dating back to 1872. It is now in its fourth generation and is located at the foot of the Manhartsberg, where fruity, spicy white wines and dense, extract-rich red wines thrive on sandy, gravelly south-facing slopes. The estate's vineyards cover the best sites in the Retzer Land region, including Steinbreiten, Kalvarienberg and Äußere Bergen. Particular attention is paid to the main grape varieties Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Zweigelt and Blauer Burgunder. Quality-oriented pruning and professional vinification guarantee that the wines are highly digestible. The Frotzler winery has taken part in various tastings over the decades and has repeatedly won awards for its wines. A visit to this winery promises to be an unforgettable experience for wine lovers.
