Weingut Edl

The Edl winery, now in its third generation, is a business where young know-how and many years of experience come together to create outstanding wines. Alexander and Werner, the masters of the winery, are supported by their family, who provide the backing that is essential for a successful winemaker's life. The wines are matured in steel, wooden and barrique barrels, which are stored in a modern wine cellar directly behind the house. The sales room and the wine cellar are barrier-free. A historic wine cellar with a 25-meter-long cellar tube can be visited by appointment. Their wine-growing area is known for its sandy loam and loess soils as well as loess soils with a brown earth layer, which are characteristic of this region. The wines mature to perfection in the two vineyards Hofstatt and Käferberg.
