Weingut Dürnberg
Description
The Dürnberg vineyard, located in the traditional wine village of Falkenstein, has been known for its viticulture since the 12th century. Between the 13th and 17th centuries, wine-growing matters between Vienna and Brno were regulated by the Falkenstein mountain court. This place, a focal point of old and new wine culture, produces wines with an unmistakable aroma and deep spiciness. The cool characteristics of the wines are the result of an exceptional terroir. The limestone-rich soils and a favorable microclimate allow the grapes to reach ideal ripeness. This results in wines with fine aromas, pronounced fruit and vital acidity. A visit to the Dürnberg winery therefore offers the opportunity to experience the unique combination of tradition and modern wine culture and to taste the exquisite wines.
