Description
The Schmid family's winery is a small family business with 7 hectares of vineyards and a farm that can trace its roots back to 1758. The picturesque location in the western Weinviertel (Unterthern, municipality of Heldenberg) south of Hollabrunn offers an idyllic backdrop. The winery aims to produce fresh and fruity wines year after year. Great importance is attached to sustainability and careful cultivation of the land. The production of the best possible quality is a matter of course. The wines can be tasted and purchased at the wine tavern, which is open every Friday except in May and September. Wine can also be sent by post and is sold directly from the farm. Wine tastings can be arranged by appointment. The varieties range from non-alcoholic wine to Weinviertel DAC (Grüne Veltliner), Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Rose' from Zweigelt, Blauburger and Zweigelt.
