Weinbau Fam. Holzreiter

The Holzreiter winery has been a family business since 1895 and has its roots in the beginnings of great-grandfather Michael Holzreiter. He began making his first wines in an abandoned castle cellar, a place where the estate's wines are still produced today. The care and precision that go into every step are a trademark of the winery, which is run by the Holzreiter family with passion and 100% reliability. At the foot of the Heldenberg in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria, the family cultivates 9 hectares of vineyards. To emphasize the character of the wines, each variety is aged individually in stainless steel, oak, acacia or barrique barrels.
