Radetzky-Weingut
Description
The Radetzky vineyard is known for its organically produced wines, which are made exclusively from its own grapes. Located in the south of the wine village of Großwetzdorf, the winery is characterized by loamy-sandy soils, while the eastern plateau has a strong occurrence of loam-loess soils. This unique combination of soil composition and the Schmidatal microclimate gives the wines their characteristic flavor and style. The winery attaches great importance to the production of single-varietal wines ranging from Landwein to Spätlese wines. The aim is always to preserve the individual character of the vintage and the fruitiness of the wines. Grüne Veltliner is the winery's main variety, followed by Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt, Blauburger and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery offers a wide range of white and red wines, grape juices and sparkling wines (Frizzante), which can be tasted in the in-house tasting room. The wines are shipped and delivered throughout Austria.
