Description

The March-Thaya Center in Hohenau an der March is a contact point for nature tourists and, as a central meeting point, a link to other public facilities and tourist attractions in Hohenau and the region.

The interactive exhibition "Schau, die Au! Welcome to the March-Thaya floodplain adventure" is also presented here. (free admission)
Not only individuals, but also kindergarten, school and adult groups can visit the exhibition or take part in workshops in the nature laboratory.

The most important main cycle routes in Lower Austria, such as the "Kamp-Thaya-March Cycle Route" or the "Iron Curtain Trail" as well as the family cycle route "Cycling for Kids - On the Trail of Nature" lead past the March-Thaya Center in Hohenau.

The large selection of brochures in the March-Thaya-Center provides an overview of the surrounding attractions.
Guided tours and workshops are also available on request.
Souvenirs and regional products are available in the small store.
Cyclists traveling with an e-bike have the opportunity to recharge their bike battery here.

The building is barrier-free (wheelchair toilet and changing table available).
