In 2008, a modern wine tavern was added to the traditional family business. Maria and Christa Stadler are in charge of ensuring that guests want for nothing. Having been awarded the TOP wine tavern award, the family also pays particular attention to the quality and regionality of the ingredients - because the Weinviertel has plenty of that to offer. Kümmelbraten and Blunz'n hot or cold, a fine cheese platter, various spreads, homemade pastries - it's hard to choose! No less so when it comes to wine: the range of Weinviertel DACs, red wines and sparkling delights leaves nothing to be desired.
The restaurant has a modern interior, but is still very cozy. The large terrace offers a wonderful view of the Falkenstein castle ruins. Once you arrive, you'll want to stay a little longer. The good news is that this is possible thanks to the 5 new and cozy guest rooms directly in the house. The wine tavern can accommodate around 60 people. The rooms are also open for groups, celebrations and wine tastings at any time by prior arrangement and are also ideal for meetings and seminars thanks to a permanently installed projector.
