Múzeum
Popis
The Hohenau an der March Museum, once the birthplace of actor Oskar Sima, is a place that brings the past to life. The career of the famous actor is documented here, as well as the history of the town of Hohenau and the development of the Kaiser Ferdinand-Nordbahn. The museum is more than just a place of remembrance, it is a place of learning and encounter that preserves and makes accessible the history and culture of the region. For example, there is a special exhibition on the history of the Northern Railway, which presents new objects from the collection of Dr. Hasidtschka from Dürnkrut. There are also regular art exhibitions, such as those by Gerlinde-Mara Süss or Yusheng Zhao-Zimperl. The history of the beekeeping association is also highlighted in a special exhibition. The Museum Hohenau an der March is therefore a place that presents the past in all its facets and always creates a link to the present.
