Description
The cycle route leads along side roads to Wetzelsdorf to approach the wind turbines towering in the distance. After a short section through a lovely little forest, you reach the wind turbines after a few meters of ascent. You can take a break directly beneath the technical structures, which are over 100 meters high, and learn more about this marvel of technology.

- Route description The starting point of this route is Vino Versum in Poysdorf. You pass by the Kolping house and turn left into Singergasse. Then you turn into the second lane on your right. You follow the street and enter a somewhat narrow lane. At the end of this path, turn left and then take the second right. At NNÖMS Poysdorf, turn left and go straight until you reach a curve. Do NOT follow the curve but turn left onto the service road. This leads you to Ketzelsdorf. You ride through Sommerzeile and then leave the village via Winterzeile. You ride along the main road. Before reaching B7, turn left and cycle alongside B7 on a service road. After some time you reach the cellar lane „Alte Geringen“. You cycle through this beautiful cellar lane and turn right at the end. Follow this road straight until you reach Erdberg. At the volunteer fire department building, turn right again. Follow the street. Now you cycle along fields; after passing two wind turbines, there is an elongated right curve which you follow. Along the street you pass the Hubertus Chapel and thus reach the town of Wetzelsdorf. Now turn into the street opposite the sports field and immediately turn left again. Cycle to the end of the street and enter Schulstraße, which is on your right. After turning into the left lane, cross the street in front of you and continue along the street. Take the third left lane and exit the lane into the next street to your right. Then follow a left-right maneuver and then cycle on the parallel path to B7 back to Poysdorf. At Maria Zellerkreuz, cross B7 and go straight; you reach the curve where you initially turned onto the service road. Follow the known route back to Vino Versum.
- Parking At the starting point of the route, the parking lot of Vino Versum Poysdorf is available.
- Getting there By car, Poysdorf is accessible via the motorway "A5".
- Public transport Coming from Vienna, you first have to take a bus or train to Mistelbach. From Mistelbach/ main square there is a bus connection to Poysdorf. From Wolkersdorf there is also a bus connection to Poysdorf, but with a longer travel time.
