This family-friendly loop trail connects the sights of the municipality of Schrattenthal, passing through all three villages—Obermarkersdorf, Waitzendorf, and the town of Schrattenthal itself. As you walk past meadows and fields, through forests and vineyards, you’ll experience the diverse landscape. Along the foothills of the Manhartsberg, you can enjoy magnificent views across the municipal area. Wine cellar lanes lined with numerous wineries and rest stops, as well as several beautiful lookout points, invite you to linger and relax. Ambitious hikers can venture on a detour to the Europawarte.

Suggested starting points include the market square in Schrattenthal, the town hall in Obermarkersdorf, or the town center in Waitzendorf.
