Start / Finish: Falkenstein

The small wine village of Falkenstein has always been eminently characterized by wine. The spectacular vineyards, the towering castle ruins, the original version of which was begun in the 11th century, the picturesque wine cellar lane, which is home to a good 50 press houses, as well as a multitude of wayside shrines, statues and small chapels provide a wonderful backdrop for hikers.

Falkenstein Town Hall—on the cliffs of the primordial sea, the church and rectory—Kreuzberg—Wine Trail—Höllenstein and Stoamandl—castle ruins and Anabaptist Museum—Schlossberg—back to Town Hall
