Stronsdorf Wanderweg

The hiking trail begins in Oberschoderlee at the Siebenbergeblick rest stop. If you follow bike path No. 819 westward into the village of Oberschoderlee (Eiserne Kreuz), you’ll pass the Krickl Buschenschank. If you continue along the bike path (Gotischer Pfeiler), you’ll leave the village to the west at the war memorial and immerse yourself in this wonderful landscape as you walk along the Steinberg. At a spot where you can take a short break, leave bike path No. 819 and continue hiking westward, past the Demeter farm with Wagyu cattle, toward Stronegg. At the Red Cross in Stronegg, the gravel path toward Patzmannsdorf begins. Walking along the base of the Toten Mann, after a slight incline, you can once again enjoy the view of the vast landscape. From there, you can already see the Schloßberg in Patzmannsdorf with its beautifully preserved wine cellar lane (Peace Cross, Schloßberg Cross). After the last wine cellar, at the Föderler wayside shrine at the edge of the forest (see photo), the trail continues westward down into the Kellertrift (Pfarrerkreuz), a “cellar village.”
