Pankraz-Radweg

From Hollabrunn, the route runs mostly parallel to the railroad tracks through a scenic area to Breitenwaida. From there, it continues on a gentle incline to Puch and then climbs a bit more steeply toward Großweikersdorf to the Hochstraße. You then ride along the edge of the forest, past the starting point of the forest nature trail, and over the Pankraz to Breitenwaida, finally through Dietersdorf and Sonnberg back to Hollabrunn.

No road bikes; suitable for children ages 10 and up

Start at the train station in Hollabrunn; take the second exit off the roundabout, follow Bahnstraße to the intersection with Bachpromenade, and turn right onto Bachpromenade. Follow the path to the intersection with Senitzergasse, turn right there, and follow the path to the intersection with Zeillernweg. You will now leave the city limits and follow the blue trail markers. You’ll ride parallel to the ÖBB railroad tracks. The first village you’ll pass through is Breitenwaida. Next come Kleedorf, Puch, Dietersdorf, and Sonnberg. The loop ends at the Jewish Cemetery, and you’ll ride back along the same route to the starting point where you left the city earlier.
