    New nostalgia train on a historic route: the Weinviertel Museum Railway takes you to interesting Excursion destinations for the whole family.

    A tip for nostalgia fans and day-trippers: The section of the Lower Austrian provincial railway network "Stammersdorf-Dobermannsdorf" that has been put back into operation is nine kilometers long and has been used by the k. u. k. Weinviertel museum railroad has been running since August 2021. It runs idyllically from Bad Pirawarth via the Klein Harras and Hohenruppersdorf stations to the Sulz-Nexing terminus. Particularly practical: bicycles travel free of charge.

    A diesel locomotive and a 130-year-old original steam locomotive are used for the train rides on Saturday and Sunday. Excursion destinations include the Niedersulz Museum Village and the Strasshof Heating House Railway Museum. Combined tickets for train travel and Excursion destinations can be purchased on request. The Weinviertel Museum Railway also runs on seasonal and festive occasions - and takes its passengers to culinary tastings, Advent events and other wonderful family events in a sustainable and reliable way.
