Mountain bike tour Starting from Hollabrunn Train Station
Start / Finish: Hollabrunn
Start / Finish: Hollabrunn
Route through vineyards and forest, asphalt and paved paths
A scenic route to the forest chapel of Klein Maria Dreieichen, which initially leads mostly on paved goods roads to Oberfellabrunn, then through a cellar lane and onwards, partly on the L42, to Groß. Through the wine cellar lane and past vineyards, the route climbs slightly into the forest to a chapel. From there, the trail continues through the forest and then along vineyards to the large phylloxera statue of the Kellerkatzenweg, then steeply downhill to the Winzerweg and back to the starting point.
No road bikes; children ages 10 and up
Start at the Hollabrunn train station. Take the first exit off the roundabout onto Josef-Weislein-Straße and continue to the next roundabout. There, take the first exit and then cross the railroad tracks. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right at the second opportunity onto Fellabrunnerstraße. The first village you’ll pass through is Oberfellabrunn; then you’ll reach Groß and, once in the forest, arrive at the Klein Maria-Dreieichen pilgrimage site. Continue through the forest; on the hill, you’ll cross the themed trail and enjoy the view at the wooden “Reblaus” landmark. You’ll return to the starting point via the Winzerweg.
