The start and finish of both running and Nordic walking routes are located at the bike shed next to the main entrance of the Therme Laa - Hotel & Silent Spa. The first 1,000 m and the last 1,800 m of both laps are identical.

After a flat section via Thermenweg, Schubertpark and Mühldamm, route 1 and route 2 separate exactly at km 1 at Martin Wachter-Platz.

Route 2 leads left past the Bundesgymnasium in Schwimmschulgasse and then runs along the Thayamühlbach (possible detour to GH Lindenhof after 2.7 km).

We reach the "Steinerne Bett" after around 3.2 km.

We then walk back along the Pfaffengraben.

Please stay on the signposted paths, as the route partly runs directly along the state border with the Czech Republic.

Route 2 also offers less experienced runners a shortcut after 6,300 m.

Route 2 joins the final section of route 1 after 7,150 m. From here you return to the start and finish point.
