Niederrußbach Lebenplatz – along Lower Austria State Bicycle Route No. 840 to the B19 (Views extending to the Alpine foothills – Ötscher) to Stranzendorf – along the path parallel to the B19 through the village of Stranzendorf to Hubermaterl – then turn left over the Altenberg (375 m) to Rußbach (Views of the Tullnerfeld, the Danube Valley, and the Alpine foothills) – across the pasture to Oberrußbach – along Hollabrunner Straße to the intersection with Imkerstraße – turning left, the “XXL Loop” trail leads through the Halterhaus Gorge to the Halterhauskreuz (336 m) (view of Oberrußbach and Pfaffenwald) – via the Winkelkreuz, visitors hike to the vineyard (336 m, view of the Alpine foothills and the Danube Valley) – through the vineyards, the route leads to the St. John’s Chapel and St. Nepomuk Chapel. From the St. John’s Chapel, the starting point—the parish church—is just a few steps away.
