Radetzky Memorial
The tour begins with a multimedia introduction to the time of Field Marshal Josef Graf Radetzky, with various exhibits from this period completing the historical picture. There are also several dioramas on display, in which famous battles - such as the one around Aspern against the Napoleonic army (1809) - are elaborately recreated with hundreds of pewter soldiers. You step through a gate from the exhibition into the open air - and immediately have an impressive view of the extensive memorial site and the mighty obelisk. Beneath this is the tomb of the generals Josef Graf Radetzky (†1858) and Maximilian Freiherr von Wimpffen (†1854) as well as the builder of the complex, Josef Gottfried Pargfrieder († 1863). The Radetzky Memorial can be visited with or without a guide. Guided tours are also available with audio guides. Guided tours for groups of 20 people or more are also possible by prior arrangement.

Stone Age village with circular ditch
The area around Heldenberg was already inhabited in the Neolithic Age. This has been proven by finds that have also made it possible to reconstruct the Neolithic village. In addition to the buildings from this period, everyday life with various prehistoric craft activities is presented.
Circular ditches are complexes consisting of one or more concentric, circular ditches with a diameter of 40 to 180 meters. The circular ditches, which were built around 5,000 years before the birth of Christ, were surrounded by palisade fences and astronomical aspects and findings were used in the construction of the mighty gates.
The Stone Age village and the circular ditches can be visited without a guided tour.
