Dionysos Panoramaweg

Interactive station, Outdoor adventure, Scenic lookout

Description

The Dionysosweg lies right in the heart of the Weinviertel. Gently rolling hills as well as diverse cultures and colors characterize the landscape of our region, which can be experienced in its entirety from this trail. True to the "see-smell-taste" sensory experience, the trail combines the Weinviertel landscape with myth and enjoyment, linking nature with art. Children in particular will find numerous adventure stations such as an oversized swing, hides with views, mythical masks to put on or a mirror that distorts reality, offering a variety of outdoor activities. Along the trail, visitors can observe goats, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens and Galloway cattle all year round. The Dionysus Trail leads from the museum parking lot up to the Weinviertel frieze by Heinz Cibulka, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Weinviertel.
