Description

Imposing, border fortress built around 1050 on a limestone cliff above the romantic wine village of Falkenstein. Today, they are most famous castle ruins in the Weinviertel with a fantastic view. A natural limestone cave, historic vaults with findings and information about the history of the Anabaptist movement and the reproduction of a historic wooden galley are worth visiting.

You can take part in a one-hour guided tour as part of your visit to the castle ruins. Guided tours are available in groups of 8 or more.
Special Betty Bernstein kid's guided tours are available for children.
